John Woodhead is an Applied Facts Senior Management Consultant with over 35 years of experience in supervising turnaround situations; leading re-engineering, acquisition, merger, sale, and integration efforts, along with providing hands on consulting relative to the identification of needs, the implementation of solutions, and the review of results.

Woodhead has served in the roles of Chairman, CEO, President, CFO, and COO. His experience includes: leading the turnaround and transition of a troubled mortgage bank to a profitable commercial and retail bank, engineering the sale and merger of several entities into companies resulting in strong growth and profitability of both the merged and the combined entities, and creating a service organization built on the concept of “best practices” to support the revenue side of the business. In so doing, he functioned as a COO until the “best practices” were installed and functioning and the service organization was operating as intended.

Woodhead has served as an investor, owner, developer, director, and consultant to numerous companies within various industries including certain Fortune 1000 companies. Woodhead has extensive entreprenurial and general management experience with companies engaged in service, distribution, process manufacturing, and buy/sell operations. He has focused his attention on companies with revenues from $5 million to in excess of $500 million with single and multiple points of distribution and manufacturing.

Woodhead has vast franchise experience, including owning and/or operating several soft drink franchises both within and outside the United States. In each case, the relationship was maintained at a high and productive level with the joint goals of the franchisor and the franchisee being met or exceeded. Woodhead’s operations were used frequently by the franchisors to test new packaging and products, many of which attained national distribution.

Woodhead also has worked extensively with regulatory authorities. The relationship between Woodhead and the regulators was maintained at the highest level with satisfactory ratings attained in all cases. Because of the high regard the regulators had for Woodhead’s operations, his banks were frequently used as a training site for new regulators.

Woodhead earned an MBA from Harvard University. He has pursued continuing education through many seminars and roundtables relating to various industries with which he was associated. Woodhead has served as President and Director of national associations, and as an advisor to certain franchise and consumer goods companies.
