Stephanie Woodhead is a Senior Investigator for Applied Facts. She has approximately thirteen years of professional experience supervising and conducting a wide variety of investigations including complex fraud, corporate internal, sexual harassment, employment, insurance, backgrounds and due diligence. She has investigated cases for corporate clients, law firms, municipalities, and entertainment industry professionals.
Woodhead has prepared and presented detailed analyses of the evidence supporting potential fraud prosecutions to law enforcement agencies, District Attorneys, and the California Department of Insurance.
Woodhead previously held the position of Associate Vice President of Legal Affairs for a division of Kroll, Inc. In that capacity she participated in guiding the legal considerations in the areas of insurance investigations, including workers’ compensation, disability, and liability. While at InPhoto, Woodhead conducted legal training for the field investigators in the areas of trespass and privacy issues.
Woodhead developed a Workplace Investigation Unit that specialized in sexual harassment and discrimination cases for a private investigation firm in California. She also supervised the firm’s Litigation Support Unit, which conducted background investigations and located and interviewed witnesses.
Woodhead eventually formed her own investigation company, where she worked closely with Applied Facts before being recruited to join the firm permanently.
Woodhead graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of San Francisco (“USF”) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Economics. Woodhead returned to USF to obtain her law degree where she distinguished herself by earning an Am Jur award for Legal Writing and Research.
Woodhead is individually licensed as a private investigator in the State of California. |
